Is Hitory just about stories and events of the past?

I disagree with this statement. Nowadays, history become one of the subject for students study in secondary and above. This already shows how important history is.History is not only about stories and events of the past, history is like our predecessors leave many different values and experiences to us. So that we could learn the right method of work,at same time do not make same mistakes that they made. For example, in Nazi Germany we study about why Hitler was successful in leading Nazi party and why he could gets all Germans believe in him. That is not a story or event, but a way towords successful. After understanding  and studying history  on that,I learnt that his success come from his extremely rational thinking, he wanted to give each German’s  right back to them which cause Germans support him. As well as his advantage which was a great speaker. His words were like magics, when people heard it they agreed with his opinions too. This shows history is not only about stories or events. Hence, I said that I disagree with this statement.

More further,History is also exchange of ideas and researching, which we always do during the class. We get in groups, research on the same history topic but on different views. In the end, there will be more information and more ideas come out as each of us think differently, we could understand further and better. Thus, there are a lot of compouds within history including stories and events in the past. Hence, I said I disagree with this statement.

Article writes about Germany in World War 2.

World War 2 was undoubtedly the most deadly war in the history of mankind. Fifty million people lost their lives. Germany with their Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler, was the country most responsible for starting the war. After five years of war, Germany had paid the price for starting the conflict as they lay virtually destroyed. They had won early battles but, in the end, World War II had been a disaster for Germany. The war had been a fight to the finish and they came up short. Germany was defeated World War I and they were forced to pay heavy reparations to the victors. Their economy could not take the pressure and it fell apart. Severe in flation and depression followed. As a result of the Treaty of Versailles and the economic disasters that followed, the German people became very resentful towards the victors of World War 1, namely France and Great Britain. Additionally, virtually all of Germany's leaders fought in World War 1 and many were wounded and they all felt betrayed. They were eager for revenge.

Article writes about the background of Hitler.

Hitler's foreign and domestic policies had the goal of seizing Lebensraum ("living space") for the Germanic people. He oversaw the rearmament of Germany and the invasion of Poland by the Wehrmacht in September 1939, which led to the outbreak of World War II in Europe. Under Hitler's direction, in 1941 German forces and their European allies occupied most of Europe and North Africa. These gains were gradually reversed after 1941, and in 1945 the Allied armies defeated the German army. Hitler's supremacist and racially motivated policies resulted in the deaths of eleven to fourteen million people, including an estimated six million Jews.

Article writes about the background of Hitler.

Adolf Hitler was an Austrian-born German politician and the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party (German: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP), commonly referred to as the Nazi Party). He was chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945, and dictator of Nazi Germany (as Führer und Reichskanzler) from 1934 to 1945. Hitler is commonly associated with the rise of fascism in Europe, World War II, and the Holocaust.

- Eduard Humer - in 1923 over the fact that Humer told people what Hitler had been like at school.

Hitler was certainly gifted in some subjects, but he lacked self-control. He was argumentative and bad-tempered, and unable to submit to school discipline....moreover, he was lazy. He reacted with hostility to advice or criticism.

By 1910, his mind had become warped and his hatred of the Jews - known as anti-Semitism - had become set.

A Yahoo user answer the question: how did Hitler turn the German economy around so quickly? By the reason ofChosen by Voters.

Germany surrendered, the war ended disastrously for Hitler. By his own admission, he cried for hours on end and felt nothing but anger and humiliation. In 1918, he was still convinced that Germany was winning the war. He also worked within the Education Department of the army and his task here was to lecture returning soldiers on the dangers of communism, socialism and pacifism. Senior officers were impressed with Hitler's skills as a speaker. It was at this time that the corporal, who was a loner, discovered his greatest talent - public oratory. The gas attack Hitler had suffered had affected his vocal chords and he spoke in a manner that few had heard before. Many who later heard Hitler speak at public rallies claimed that his voice had hypnotic qualities to it.

When the Nazis came to power the most pressing issue was an unemployment rate of close to 30%. The economic management of the state was first given to respected banker Hjalmar Schacht. Under his guidance, a new economic policy to elevate the nation was drafted. One of the first actions was to destroy the trade unions and impose strict wage controls. The government then expanded the money supply through massive deficit spending. However at the same time the government imposed a 4.5% interest rate ceiling, creating a massive shortage in borrowable funds. This was resolved by setting up a series of dummy companies that would pay for goods with bonds. The most famous of these was the MEFO company, and these bonds used as currency became known as mefo bills. While it was promised that these bonds could eventually be exchanged for real money, the repayment was put off until after the collapse of the Reich. These complicated maneuvers also helped conceal armament expenditures that violated the Treaty of Versailles.

A website answer the question: how was Hitler able to become chancellor in January 1933?

Hitler's rise to power was based upon long-term factors - resentment in the German people, the weakness of the Weimar system - which he exploited through propaganda (paid for by his rich, Communist-fearing backers), the terror of his storm troopers, and the brilliance of his speeches. During the 'roaring twenties' Germans ignored this vicious little man with his programme of hatred.   But when the Great Depression ruined their lives, they voted for him in increasing numbers.   Needing support, and thinking he could control Hitler, President Hindenburg made the mistake in January 1933 of giving Hitler the post of Chancellor.

Another part of the new German economy was massive rearmament, with the goal being to expand the 100,000-strong German Army into a force of millions. In comparison, a military build-up had also been a part of the New Deal (regarding the Navy) and Stalin's First Five Year Plan. The Four-Year Plan was discussed in the controversial Hossbach Memorandum, which provides the "minutes" from one of Hitler's briefings. Some use the Hossbach Memorandum to show that Hitler planned a war in Eastern Europe in the pursuit of Lebensraum, believing that the Western powers of the United Kingdom and France would not intervene, leaving him free to take over the USSR, the "natural enemy" of Germany. However, this intentionalist view is disputed.

Reorganised the Nazi party.

As a result of his jail sentence, Hitler realised he could not take power by force, he decided to use legal means. Following his release from prison, he concentrated his efforts on reorganising the party so that he could win power through elections. He set up branches of the Nazi Party in different parts of Germany, created a youth government to get the support of the young and arranged large public meetings to new members.

The article is about the combat history of Nazi Germany.

In 1933, the Nazis under Adolf Hitler came to power and established a totalitarian regime. Political opponents were killed or imprisoned. Nazi Germany's aggressive foreign policy took control of Austria and parts of Czechoslovakia, and its invasion of Poland initiated the Second World War. After forming a pact with the Soviet Union in 1939, Hitler's blitzkrieg swept nearly all of Western Europe. In the Holocaust, six million Jews in Germany and German-occupied areas, as well as five million Poles, Romanies, Slavs, Soviets, and others were systematically killed. In 1941, however, the German invasion of the Soviet Union failed, and after the United States entered the war, Britain became the base for massive Anglo-American bombings of German cities. Following the Allied invasion of Normandy, the German army was pushed back on all fronts until the final collapse in May 1945.

Article writes about Adolf Hitler.

During his lifetime, Hitler was very secretive about his background. Only the dimmest outline of his parents emerges from the biographical chapters of Mein Kampf. He falsified his father's occupation, changing him from a customs official to a postal official. He repulsed relatives who tried to approach him. One of the first things he did after taking over Austria was to have a survey carried out of the little farming village of Dollerscheim where his father's birth had been recorded. As soon as it could be arranged the inhabitants were evacuated and the entire village was demolished by heavy artillery. Even the graves in the cemetery where his grandmother had been buried were rendered unrecognisable.

Up to 1923, the Nazi Party was small and noisy. Its importance was mainly in the Munich area of Bavaria. Money, or lack of it, was always a problem. The 1923 hyperinflation crisis proved to be an opportunity too good to miss for the now party leader -Hitler.Hyperinflation ruined the middle class. The poor had little and they lost most of the little they had. The rich lost a lot but as rich people they could keep their heads above water. The middle class did not have the cash reserves of the rich but they led comfortable lives. These lives were now ruined by hyperinflation and they blamed the government. Hitler planned to seize the most important city in the south - Munich - and to use the city as a base to launch an attack on the rest of Germany, hoping that the angered middle class would rise up in support of him throughout the nation.

In Germany concentration camps were set up after 1933 to detain without legal procedure Jews, Communists, Gypsies, homosexuals, and others. During World War II extermination, or death, camps were established for the sole purpose of killing men, women, and children. In the most notorious camps - Auschwitz, Treblinka, Sobibor and Majdanek in Poland, Buchenwald and Dachau in Germany - more than 6 million people, mostly Jews and Poles, were killed in gas chambers. Millions of others were also interned during the war, and a large proportion died of gross mistreatment, malnutrition, and disease.

The country is associated with causing World War 2 and with the carrying out the Holocaust. He was warned, politely, that he would bring Germany into disrepute and that future generations wouldn't thank him, but the man who warned him (Armin T Wegner) was seized by the Gestapo and sent from one concentration camp to another, having to undergo the 'initiation rituals' again and further vicious beatings, at each new camp ...

Hitler——Savior or Destoryer to Germany?

Adolf Hitler was the chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945, and dictator of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. In 11 years of ruling Germany, he did benefited Germany in political, social and economic so on and so forth. But, those benefits could not mitigate how much that he had destroyed Germany.

Firstly, he was a extremely emotional and rational person. Whether it is family, friendship or love can not match Hitler's ambitions. And He will remove all obstacles to hinder his ambition.

Secondly,he lacked self-control. He was argumentative and bad-tempered. Moreover, he was lazy. He reacted with hostility to advice or criticism. He was convinced that it was a Jewish professor that had rejected his art work; he became convinced that a Jewish doctor had been responsible for his mother’s death. In his book called "Mein Kampf", Hitler made it clear that his time in Vienna  was entirely the fault of the Jews - "I began to hate them". Thus, he had founded the Third Reich 12 years and three months before. His goals - the mass murder of the Jews, the establishment of a German Empire based on the conquest of the Soviet Union, the murder of the original inhabitants or their reduction to slaves of the Third Reich. His Nazi Regime led to the annihilation of more than six million Jews in Europe. The Third Reich would survive him for one week - the nightmare he had unleashed was over.

Thirdly,in concentration camps were set up after 1933 to detain without legal procedure Jews, Communists, Gypsies, homosexuals, and others. After that he causing World War 2 too.I

However, he did benefit parts of Germany, such as Nazi party by solving the economic problems. Hitler planned to seize the most important city in the south - Munich - and to use the city as a base to launch an attack on the rest of Germany, hoping that the angered middle class would rise up in support of him throughout the nation.

In conclusion, although he was try his best to lead Germany, but in fact, his abilities not enough to let the whole Germany  go forward or even recover, and his extreme in many things cause he get into the wrong ways.Hence, I said to Germany, Hitler is a destroyer.
