Is Hitory just about stories and events of the past？

I disagree with this statement. Nowadays, history become one of the subject for students study in secondary and above. This already shows how important history is.History is not only about stories and events of the past, history is like our predecessors leave many different values and experiences to us. So that we could learn the right method of work,at same time do not make same mistakes that they made. For example, in Nazi Germany we study about why Hitler was successful in leading Nazi party and why he could gets all Germans believe in him. That is not a story or event, but a way towords successful. After understanding  and studying history  on that,I learnt that his success come from his extremely rational thinking, he wanted to give each German’s  right back to them which cause Germans support him. As well as his advantage which was a great speaker. His words were like magics, when people heard it they agreed with his opinions too. This shows history is not only about stories or events. Hence, I said that I disagree with this statement.

More further,History is also exchange of ideas and researching, which we always do during the class. We get in groups, research on the same history topic but on different views. In the end, there will be more information and more ideas come out as each of us think differently, we could understand further and better.Thus, there are a lot of compouds within history including stories and events in the past. Hence, I said I disagree with this statement.
